Immersion Baie-des-Chaleurs is excited to offer new services that will be competitive and interesting to the International Language Travel market.

* We now offer an Extranet service which allows students to speak to each other from their respective countries and get to know each other before they arrive for the immersion. They will also have inside information about the region, teachers, program, activities and festivals along with climate info including what to bring and what to expect. The Extranet is completely in French and therefore the students immersion begins when the log on to the Extranet.

The following are our French immersion programs: Click on the name of the program for its full description :

1) Curriculum Centred Program

We offer the same intense, four-week, International French immersion course for students and adults without the activities included in the price. We take you from the classroom into the community by asking you to master 20 tasks that will allow you to be functional in any French community.
Cost : 550 $ CAN per week

2) Vacation Program

We offer you the advantage of living with your teacher and taking private courses while you enjoy the region. If a FSL teacher is not available for accommodation, students will be offered to live with a French speaking homestay family. We take you into the community by asking you to master 20 tasks that will allow you to be functional in any French community.
Cost : 450 $ CAN per week

3) Study-Vacation Program I

We offer you the advantage of living with your teacher and taking more intense private courses while you enjoy the region. If a FSL teacher is not available for accommodation, students will be offered to live with a French speaking homestay family. We take you into the community by asking you to master 20 tasks that will allow you to be functional in any French community.
Cost : 750 $ CAN per week

4) Study-Vacation Program II

We offer you the advantage of living with your teacher and taking 3 hours of private courses per day while you enjoy the region. If a FSL teacher is not available for accommodation, students will be offered to live with a French speaking homestay family. We take you into the community by asking you to master 20 tasks that will allow you to be functional in any French community.
Cost : 940 $ CAN per week

5) Made to Measure Program

We offer you the chance to ask us what you would like. Is there a program that you would like to see offered but have not yet come across. Let us know what you are looking for, the activities you would like included and the price you would like to pay. We aim to please.

All students must have proof of health insurance faxed to the school before arrival. This health insurance must be valid for your entire program, from 1 week to maximum 6 months.

Method of payment:

500 $ CAN deposit once student’s inscription is confirmed

The balance must be paid at student’s arrival by one of these method of payment :

• Cash
• Certified cheque or postal order
• International bank transfer
• Visa credit card (please keep in mind that there is transaction fee of 3 % of the total amount )
