Activities

During a workshop a guest speaker is invited to speak on a topic chosen by the students. The students will then discuss the topic with their teachers. These workshops are included in the cost of the course. Students will be given reading material, taped music or a video in advance to prepare for some workshops.

The presentation (lasting approximately 30-45 minutes) will be followed by an open forum for questions addressed directly to the speaker. After a 15 minute break the student groups will reconvene each led by an instructor trained to promote discussions, guide the learning process, and correct the students oral French. Informal discussion will continue for 30 minutes.
